What People are Saying
“Welcoming country food serving great food”
“Walked in today and found a lovely welcoming pub serving great beer and a good choice of home cooked food. The staff serving us were attentive, good humoured and efficient. 2 superb fish pies and 2 chicken dishes later we were very impressed.”

“Great village pub”
“I really liked this place and will return. Clean and spacious. Lovely food – I had fish and chips, my friend seabass and veg, both perfect and very much enjoyed. Particularly good homemade tartare sauce. Couldn’t finish my chips and I am a big eater. They were lovely to my friend’s baby. Chilled tap water provided on request.“

“Fantastic”
“My sister and I travelled here to do our hot air balloon and wanted somewhere close by where we could have a few drinks and relax before our early start. The staff were very friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us! We didn’t have to lift a finger all night and the value for food and drink was amazing for us as big beer drinkers! We also had the best nights sleep we have ever had whilst staying out and around the country. Would highly recommend and definitely return!! Thank you!”
